As we wind down for the end of a very busy semester, the Germany Trek Team is winding up for the last leg of preparation before we cross the big pond!
We've been working tirelessly organizing our last fundraisers here in town, (Swirly Treats today in Lakeland! See facebook for more info.)
As we draw closer as a team, I find myself amazed at the desire in each of our hearts to be servant artists. It's hard to be in an educational atmosphere and also try to make a real difference in the world around us...it's even harder to come out of our own bubbles and reach out to those around us...
...this team does it all.
Whether its Anna Shelton and Chelsea working so hard to get fundraisers up and going,
or Dave and Anna Rebmann's ever-enduring positivity,
or Murphy and Courtney pretty much OWNING the Comedy Improv Floor,
or Sarah and Stephanie's stunning creativity in every process we approach,
or Ethan who is fighting a harder battle than the rest of us as he works from home,
or Joe who is at the head of a department, a family, and this team,
or me! And all I feel I can do in the face of so much beauty and love, is write this blog post, so you know what is happening; the amazing, beautiful, and hard things that are happening.
